Period of stay and length of stay: summer semester 2025/2026 (February – June 2026)
Number of scholarships: 5 students per semester
Who can apply: Students of 1st cycle and long-cycle master’s degree (after completing the 1st year of studies, with minimum 80 ECTS) as well as students of 2nd cycle
Eligible units/fields of study: addressed to all faculties (in the areas of studies offered by both institutions)

Financial conditions:

  • Tuition fee will be waived by the host institution;
  • Costs of visa, tickets, insurance, handbooks, costs of living and accommodation are covered by a student.

Required documents:

  1. Consent Form, signed by Head of the Educational Unit (EUH) or Mobility Coordinator;
  2. Certificate of grade average from the entire period of study, issued by the Student’s Office at the unit – at least 4,00;
  3. Transcript of Records in English signed by an authorized person in the unit conducting the studies – students of the first year of second-cycle studies submit a Transcript of Records or a supplement to the diploma of first-cycle studies;
  4. Motivation letter justifying the choice of the receiving institution;
  5. Curriculum Vitae including information on academic achievements, distinctions, awards etc.;
  6. For students from non-Spanish-speaking countries, a proof of Spanish proficiency at minimum B2 level is required. Acceptable certificates: SIELE Global or SIELE S5, DELE, or a Certificate of Spanish proficiency issued by the home university’s language center (issued no more than six months prior the application).

Evaluation criteria:

  1. Reason for choosing a foreign institution / motivation – 0-5 points
  2. Average grade from the entire study period – 0-3 points
  3. Achievements to date – 0-3 points
  4. Knowledge of the foreign language, in line with the requirements of the host institution – 0-3 points
  5. Year of studies (priority given to senior students) – 0-1 points

Each member of the evaluation committee can award a maximum of 15 points.

Remarks:

  • The receiving institution shall reserve the right to review the exchange enrolment request and make the final decision according to the receiving institution’s internal regulations and the legal regulations imposed by the national and/or local authorities.
  • Candidates/students accepted by the receiving institution shall obtain approval for the study programme from the Mobility Coordinator at their home unit at UW. Learning Agreement shall be signed by the student and both institutions within 3 weeks from the beginning of the exchange.
  • Candidates may, at any time, be asked to show original documents providing achievements and received awards.
  • Candidates take care of the visa on their own in accordance with the procedures of the host country https://www.gob.mx/inm
  • Before departure, students accepted by the receiving institution are obliged to conclude an agreement with the University of Warsaw (at the International Relations Office).
  • Nominated students will be required to submit documents to the UNAM application system by October 3, 2025. More information will be published on the UNAM website on August 25, 2025 https://www.unaminternacional.unam.mx/es/movilidad/entrante and communicated to nominated students in correspondence.

Application deadlineMonday 18 August 2025, until 12:00 pm Warsaw time zone. Incomplete or late applications will not be considered.

Applications sent from other email addresses will not be considered.
