CRASP and Elsevier Scholarship Program, aimed at enhancing the research potential of Ukrainian Ph.D. students and academics – two scholars to be hosted by the University of Warsaw
The Conference of Rectors of Academic Schools in Poland (KRASP), with financial support from Elsevier, has allocated funds for scholarships aimed at enhancing the scientific potential of doctoral students and researchers from Ukraine.
The University of Warsaw will host two schollars under this Program.
Starting in January 2026, Ms. Nataliia Shcherbii from the Vasyl Stefanyk Carpathian National University will carry out her project at the Faculty of Applied Linguistics. The host unit for the fellowship will be the Institute of Ukrainian Studies at the University of Warsaw, with Professor Iryna Kononenko serving as the project supervisor.
Beginning in February 2026, Ms. Nadiia Skobel from Kherson State University will be hosted by the Faculty of Biology. Her scientific supervision will be provided by Dr. Iwona Dembicz from the Department of Ecology and Environmental Conservation at the Institute of Environmental Biology.
