The KIU – Competence Network Interdisciplinary Ukrainian Studies Frankfurt (Oder) – Berlin calls for applications of RESEARCH FELLOWSHIPS (winter term 2025). The research fellowship programme in Interdisciplinary Ukrainian Studies was launched in winter term 2024-25 and is now accepting applications for its third round.
The call offers scholarship opportunities for international researchers lasting from October to December 2025. The programme provides up to 7 fellowships for researchers from various disciplines to conduct intensive research on aspects of history, culture, the state, society, and conflict related to Ukraine. The duration of the programme is 3 months. A stay at the Viadrina as a visiting scholar is associated with a stipend of up to 2,300 € per month.

Infrastructural Fragmentation, Infrastructural Resilience: Interdisciplinary Perspectives on Techno-Politics and Crisis
Interested candidates should apply online through the KIU application portal by 25 June 2025. Applicants must register on the portal in advance. The portal will open on 25 May 2025.
