EU students with a valid European Health Insurance Card are entitled to medical help free of charge. All other international students use the medical clinics on a payment basis depending on the terms and conditions determined by their insurance company.
There are university clinics (CenterMed) a student may visit – one is located in the main campus at Krakowskie Przedmiescie 26/28 St. and the other one in Warynskiego 10A St. An appointment in the morning for a visit in the same day has to be made either in person at the registration desk or per phone call (it is recommended to ask a Polish speaking mentor for help). Please remember to take following documents with you:
- a copy of your passport/ID
- European Health Insurance Card
- University of Warsaw Electronic Student Card.
There are also several private health care centers, where it is possible to see a doctor, make tests or get dental care. These visits would be on a payment basis. The personnel in these clinics is usually fluent in English.
